Antiquo gives an opinion produced by an AI model from photographs. It is not a professional appraisal, an authentication, or advice on which to buy, sell or insure anything.
Identifying antiques properly requires physical examination by a qualified person. A photograph cannot show weight, sound, tool marks, the underside of a joint, or a mark that is worn away. The App may be wrong, and it may be confidently wrong.
Where no maker's mark is visible in your photographs, the App deliberately leaves the maker blank rather than guessing. Treat a blank field as "unknown", not as "unmarked".
The price range shown is what sellers are currently asking on eBay for items the App judged comparable. It is not a valuation, not a market value, and not a record of what anything actually sold for.
Asking prices are frequently far above what an item realises. Where too few comparable listings exist, the App shows no range at all rather than an unreliable one.
Do not rely on these figures for a purchase, a sale, an insurance declaration or a tax filing.
Antiquo offers an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy; we cannot issue them.
Please do not use the App to break the law, to submit photographs you have no right to use, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the service.
Photographs and notes you create remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the App — principally, to transmit a photograph to our AI provider so it can be analysed.
We do not hold a copy of your collection and cannot recover it. Deleting the App, resetting the device or moving to a new phone will lose it permanently.
Identification and price lookups require an internet connection and depend on third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or withdraw features.
The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on an identification, a price range, or any other output of the App — including losses on a purchase or sale.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
