Aloe Cleaner finds duplicates, similar shots, screenshots and large videos in your photo library. All of that analysis runs on your device, using Apple's Vision framework, which is part of iOS itself.
We do not upload, copy, back up or transmit your photos or videos. There is no server that receives them, and the scan works with no internet connection at all.
The app reads your photo library only while you are using it, and only to produce the results you see on screen.
Aloe never deletes anything on its own. You review each group and choose what goes. The deletion itself is performed by iOS, which shows its own confirmation dialog.
Deleted items move to the Recently Deleted album in Photos, where iOS keeps them for 30 days before removing them permanently. During those 30 days you can restore anything from the Photos app. After that we cannot recover them, and neither can Apple.
We collect anonymous usage statistics so we can tell whether the app works: which screens were opened, whether a scan finished, how many items it found, whether a purchase went through. These statistics never contain your photos, their contents or their file names, and they are not tied to your name, email or phone number.
We never ask you for a name, an email address or a phone number, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Each of these receives a random identifier for your installation, not an identity. Deleting and reinstalling the app produces a new one.
Aloe Pro is sold through Apple. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store: we never see your card number, billing address or Apple ID password. We receive only whether a subscription is currently active.
Aloe Cleaner is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Because we hold no account and no personal identifiers, there is no personal profile to export or erase. If you want the anonymous usage data from your installation deleted, write to us and tell us the date and approximate time you used the app, and we will remove what we can identify.
You can also stop all collection at any time by deleting the app.
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
